A Wichita man faces a January, 2010 trial for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars in rare sports items from a Wichita bar.

Brandon Vanness waived his right to a preliminary hearing this morning.

Someone broke into Players Sports Bar in July and stole sports collectibles valued at $50,000. Police recovered some of the stolen items.

Vanness was arrested in September.
