If you thought today was windy, just be glad you weren't up on the roof like the principal of Valley Center Intermediate School.

He was fulfilling his part of a bargain he made with the students, who were selling sport cups as a fundraiser.

"Today was supposed to be in the mid-60s, but I did not take into account the wind," said Principal Jamie Wetig. "But I have this little block here, so it's not too bad."

The good news is Mr. Wetig was only obligated to stay on the roof until a little after 2 p.m.
