Spirit AeroSystems’ employee charitable giving organization,
the Good Neighbor Fund, today donated $25,000 to the American Red Cross Midway-Kansas Chapter to assist the emergency needs of tornado victims in Joplin, Mo., and Reading, Kan.

The donation will be used to help set up shelters and provide meals for families in need.

“The Spirit Employees Good Neighbor Fund is proud to donate $25,000 to the Red Cross Midway-Kansas Chapter to help the Joplin and Reading families who were impacted by the
recent tornados,” said Debbie Logsdon, president of Spirit’s Good Neighbor Fund. “We know what it is like to have community, families and friends torn apart by such devastation, and trust
this donation will help on the road to recovery.”

“Since March 31, Red Cross has responded to disasters in nearly half the country,” said Bev Morlan, regional executive director for the American Red Cross Midway-Kansas Chapter. “As we
help our neighbors in Reading, Kan. and Joplin, Mo. with shelter, food and emotional support, contributions from organizations like Spirit and its employees make our response possible. On
behalf of the hundreds of people who have sought refuge in a Red Cross shelter, thank you to Spirit’s employees and the Good Neighbor Fund.”

Spirit AeroSystems’ Good Neighbor Fund is an employee-run, nonprofit organization that allows Spirit employees to monetarily donate to charitable organizations in their community. An
employee-elected board of directors determines where the funds are allocated.
