Update

A Night on the Red Carpet, featuring local celebrities to raise money for the Episcopal Social Services Venture House, will begin at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Wichita Scottish Rite Center.

Funds raised for the event will support ESS and the programs they provide to the community.

The 83rd Annual Academy Awards will be broadcast on KAKE TV tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Wichita is hosting an Oscar party, featuring local celebrities to raise money for the Episcopal Social Services Venture House.

A Night on the Red Carpet, ESS’s special event, is an evening dedicated to the Academy Awards while raising awareness and financial support of ESS and the programs we provide. The event will feature local celebrities greeting guests on the red carpet at The Wichita Scottish Rite Center on Sunday, February 27, 2011, 6:30 pm.
