Forget electronics, appliances and toys this holiday shopping season.

The Kansas Humane Society is holding its first ever Black Friday Sale on Friday. KHS customers will receive 20-percent off adoption fees, or store purchase, with a donation.

Donations of plush toys, rawhides, Kongs or creamy peanut butter for homeless pets are especially welcome.

More than 70 animals are currently available. Each adoption includes a physical exam, spay or neuter surgery, ID microchip, vaccinations and a small bag of food.

Doors open at 11 a.m. Friday. The KHS will be open until 8 p.m.
