Parents in Wichita have been invited to a workshop on protecting children against Internet crime.

The three-hour workshop will be held June 26. It's offered by the Kansas Internet Crimes Against Children task force.

The group says parents and guardians will learn about the importance of keeping children safe online. They'll also get advice on monitoring children's online activity and on talking to them about safe Internet use.
