There's expected to be a long line of people on this sidewalk waiting for the doors of 'The Hotel Broadview' to open for the start of a huge liquidation sale Thursday at 9 a.m. There's items here for anyone and everyone and there's plenty of it."
Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5pm Sunday.
The furnishings from 231 rooms are for sale. Just about anything that can be sold has a price tag on it. The ground floor hotel hallway is lined with furnishing such as wardrobes
The Broadview is closed for renovations, which could take up to a year. That’s why they’re having the sale to sell everything from toilets to complete bedroom sets.
The large exhibition hall is stuffed with sofas, chairs and beds. But, shoppers will also be walking hotel hallways upstairs looking for buys.
"This is a typical example. They'll come in. They'll want to buy a bed or a lamp they'll pick out the bed they want and this is what they'll get." Frank Long, International Content Liquidations Inc. President said.
Even bathroom fixtures have to go. Of course, if you buy, you’ve got to get them out.
"It's cash n' carry. Bring your own truck. Bring your own help." Long said.
The sale includes in Le Parc Restaurant and Chisolm’s Bar and Grill.
The sale is expected to continue for three weeks unless, of course, everything is sold before then.
