Paisley, parking and restaurants full of people. That's the buzz in downtown Wichita this weekend.
Doors for the Brad Paisley concert at the Intrust Bank Arena will open at 6 p.m. Saturday. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Spaces at city-owned or city-leased parking lots will be available from $4 to $15. No debit, credit cards or checks. Payment for parking must be in cash.
The arena is located at 500 East Waterman Street in downtown Wichita.
Arena security will be out in force. The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office will have 17 officers at tonight's concert and more than 90 cameras will monitor the inside and outside of the facility.
An arena spokesperson says all guests are subject to bag searches for the safety of those in attendance and some items are not allowed inside of the building, including bottles or cans, laser pointing devices, fireworks, alcohol, audio or video recording devices or 35 mm or detachable-lens cameras.
No weapons including guns, knives, box cutters, mace, pepper spray or brass knuckles are allowed inside of the facility.
The arena has a wide range of beverages and food available to the public from concessions. No outside food or beverage will be allowed inside.
