The pediatric neurosurgeon who was the first to successfully separate a set of conjoined twins will be a featured guest of the Kansas African American Museum.
Dr. Ben Carson will greet the public at the museum's "Opening Doors" exhibit that honors African American trailblazers in the medical profession.
Students are invited to meet doctors, nurses and other health professionals who will be attending the exhibit. The museum is located at 601 North Water St. and doors open at 6 p.m. Friday.
