Police Campaign Kicks Off Friday

This annual crime-fighting event has been expanded to a five-day celebration. Events kick off Friday, July 31 and end with block parties throughout the city on Tuesday, August 4.

Friday - Kick-off party at the Old Town Farm and Art Market
Saturday - Family Zoo Day at the Sedgwick County Zoo
Sunday - Family day and concert in Sedgwick County Park
Monday - Warren Theatres sponsors “Movie Monday”
Tuesday - National Night Out neighborhood block parties

Last year Wichita was named 5th in the nation for its involvement in the campaign which aims to increase citizen involvement in crime prevention.
