A group of four bikers are cycling their way across the country in an effort to raise money for Parkinson’s disease and traumatic brain injuries.
The four spent the night in Wichita at the Herman Hill Park before heading out on their route to San Francisco.
So far, they have more than $3,500 pledged for research when they complete their trek. Biker Gary Conger says he wants to help others like himself.
“I suffered a traumatic brain injury a few years ago, so it really strikes my heart to be able to be at this point, five years later,” Conger said.
