A full-length family film shot in central Kansas is set to premiere this weekend in Abilene.
Covenant Films LLC was involved in the production of the film, entitled "Can We Talk?"
The Chapman-based independent production and distribution company says on its website that it was founded last year to produce family and Christian movies.
The movie features a troubled young man and his religious struggles.
The film was shot at locations including the Dickinson County Courthouse in Abilene and the north edge of Marshall Army Airfield at Fort Riley.
The premiere of "Can we Talk?" will take place Friday through Sunday at Emmanuel Church in Abilene.
National marketing of the film will begin June 10.
