Local Cub Scouts celebrated a big year of popcorn sales by "treating" their leaders to pie.
Cub Scouts from Pack 494 in Valley Center spent part of their pack meeting Tuesday night pelting their Pack and Den leaders with pies in the face.
Scout leaders called it an easy price to pay after the scouts sold more than $22,000 in popcorn.
Money from the sales of popcorn is used to send Cub Scouts to summer camp and to pay for other scouting programs.
