Wichita West high school remembered one of their own Friday.

17-year-old Alexsandra Morales collapsed and died at West in April.
Morales was member of the basketball team, a sport her aunt and uncle said she lived for.

Friday her basketball jersey, number 34, was retired during the school's home game.

"She's missed, she's missed a lot. Like I said, the support from West High School, all the kids has been great. She was loved. She was a pioneer," said Vincent Stang, Morales's uncle.

Stang, and his wife Maria, said they still don't know just what their niece died of. She would have graduated this coming May.
