University of Phoenix is partnering with CNBC News Anchor Erin Burnett and CareerBuilder’s Vice President of Human Resources Rosemary Haefner to co-host “Strategies in the New Economy” workshops.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at the Wichita campus, located at 3020 N Cypress Drive on Wednesday, August 18th from 6-8 p.m.
The University will provide attendees with support tools and information to help adapt to the ever-changing job market, and to help people land not just a job, but a career in today’s economy.
Burnett and Haefner will discuss the current state of the new economy, from its overall financial implications to how attendees can secure a career in today’s economy.
University faculty member John Buselt will provide a local view of the Wichita employment landscape with localized job data provided by CareerBuilder.
University faculty member Kim Martin will provide a practical presentation with tips and tools to help attendees prepare for their next career search.
