I don't know..... I have just been on my soapbox in the newsroom the last week about this Big 12 thing.   What has surprised me the most, though,  is that even the die-hard KU or K-State fan in the newsroom doesn't seem to be as angry as I am.   Or maybe they are angry....but there is no place to put that anger.     They say this is just part of college athletics....that it is all about money.  If there is a conference that is going to provide the school with millions of more dollars, they say,  more power to them.  

My biggest arguement is not with the schools that may be leaving the Big 12....but with the conferences that are "stealing" from our conference.    I say stealing....but many people don't agree with the term.    I know this may sound illogical.....but GET YOUR HANDS OUT OF OUR CONFERENCE!!!   Make your own darn success!!  Don't steal from ours , and let KU and K-State out in the cold.

I know I am not offering any solid "financial" reasons for this not to happen......I just want to vent and be like a kid and say "stay out of our playground!!"
