A New Business : Taking Down Christmas Decorations

I hate taking down Christmas decorations!! When is the "right " time to take them down anyway? I want your opinion.

The worst thing about the few weeks after Christmas is the process of dismantling your decorations.   I dont know about your kids,  but my children love putting them up...but they will do anything to avoid taking them down.   So mostly,  I do it myself.   Now this is a big progect because I basically decorate almost every room in the house.     So, I was just thinking,  I think there is some money to be made with a service that takes down your decorations,   wraps them ,  and boxes them into storage containers.  All you would have to do is get the containers to the basement!!  If there is already such a service,  let me know.

This brings me to the question,   when is the "proper" time to take them down?   If you are like my sister,  it is the day after Christmas. If you are like my nieghbor,  you leave them up until after The Epiphany  .   The Epiphany is on January 6th.  It is the day many Christian Churches celebrate the arrival of the Three Wise Men to see the Baby Jesus.    In fact,  that is what I was always taught in my Church.....Christmas is not over until The Epiphany.    Since my teenage daughter LOVES Christmas ,  she usually gets her way and we leave them up as long as my husband can stand it.       So, I will be taking down Christmas decorations this weekend.  When do you think they should come down??  I'd love to hear from you.
