Last Spring, Jeff and I nearly finished planning our flower beds just during commercial breaks.  The whole thing was new to Jeff last year,  so I was able to answer some of his questions (which plants go well in shade,  which require a lot of attention ect..).

I so looked forward to those commercial breaks.   Sometimes we'd see a sale during the break and make a note to go to that store that weekend.  

We finally got to resume our "garden" conversations last week.... because we are finally guaranteed some warm weather.  I planted Zinnias and Impatiens....they both do well in shade.    Jeff said he planted alot of bushes so that he wouldnt have to plant as many flowers this year!!    Possibly we could go back to our "winter"  chats during commercials which consist of : 1) what we are doing that weekend,  2) how the kids are 3) things that frustrated us during the day  (we really get a lot off our backs that way).

You know Jeff and I have both found that just planting something in the dirt is a stress reliever and also helps us feel as if we have accomplished something!
