So I saw on the news this morning that  The New Kids on the Block are coming back with a brand new album! 

For those of you, like me, who were in middle school during the 80's this is big news! To say I was crazy about the The New Kids on the Block back then would be an understatement!

My favorite was Joey--my sister's favorite Donny--and I remember giving her a HUGE Donny pin for her birthday one year! I also remember getting together with my cousins and watching their Hangin' Tough tour video! And I hate to admit this-- because it makes me soud like such a dork!!--but I even daydreamed that if I wrote a really good song and sent it to them and they liked it they would invite me to come on tour with them! haha 11 year old girls have such an imagination!!

When I went home this past Christmas my sister and I were looking through our old records and I even found my New Kids on The Block Christmas album!!  We talked about how funny it was that we were so in love with them and laughed about the whole craze in general.

So will I actually buy their new cd? Likely not. But hearing that they're back together has certainly brought up some great memories of back in the day!
