I met a young lady in the Oaklawn area whose mobile home was destroyed by the recent tornado. I looked over as she was talking with neighbors. I noticed she was pregnant and not just slightly. She told me she was 8 1/2 months pregnant with her 7th child.
She was able to get all six kids to safety but, the stress of the tornado caused her to go into early labor. After a visit to the emergency room her contractions subsided.
Her friends recently held a baby shower for her and all the new baby gifts were also destroyed in the storm.
She's thankful she and her family are alive but, now what?
My heart goes out to all the tornado victims.
