Little Brother Bond

My sister and I have always called him our LITTLE brother but, he's now 34-years-old. So, I guess he's not so little anymore.

I'm writing my blog today about my little brother.  My sister and I have always called him our LITTLE brother but, he's now 34 years old.  So, I guess he's not so little anymore.  Ha Ha..

Growing up he was the baby of the family.  He is hilarious, fun and a little spoiled. ha ha.  We adored him and took it on as our job to watch out for him.  For example signing his name to birthday cards, reminding him about important events and even visiting with his college advisors to make sure he was on track.. ha ha!! I'm sure he could have handeled this all on his own but, we thought it was our job to do it.

Last weekend my family had a rough time.  My sweet mother had back surgery and was in the hospital for 4 days.  As you know it's extremely difficult to see your mother crying in pain.  I don't think any child will forget it once they see it.  It tugs at your heart but, my little brother was AMAZING!

He's not so little anymore.  My brother was the most responsible young man I've seen.  He set his alarm and made sure my mother got her pain medicines on time.  If the nurse wasn't there at the exact minute he would track her down.  He helped my mother out of bed and to the bathroom.  He rubbed her head when she was grimicing in pain.  He took off extra days to care for her at home.

My little brother is all grown up.  He's responsible, loyal and devoted to his family.  I'm proud to say he's my brother.

Have a great week everyone!!
