Hello everyone! Over the weekend I took my children to a restaurant with a play area. Kids LOVE them! I had a friend in town with her twin 2 year old girls. So we all headed to the restaurant.
Here's the debate! Kids love them but, parents hate to see all the filth and germs floating around. Even if the restaurant employees clean the play area, you know it's still infested with germs and grime. Kids are running all over with food on their hands plus, sticky pop.
These places are great fun for the kids but, as a parent you hope they don't catch something and get sick. Usually I take a big bottle of hand sanitizer and put it on the table so, we can constantly clean our hands. I'm not a germphobe but I've seen it-Kids take off their shoes and run into the bathroom and step in a puddle of urine and back out they come to climb on the toys. I think you just have to look the other way and not think about what your kids are climbing on or climbing in.
So, come on let me hear your stories!
