A few years ago, a guy at work (I won't mention his name ..but he knows a lot of "people.") introduced me to Starbucks. My love of Starbucks eventually developed into a full blown coffee addiction. I purchased a coffee pot to eliminate the trip and make coffee at home.
For a time, I suffered from what is known as "coffee jaws." This is when you simply can't wait the 3 seconds it takes to pour coffee into a cup .. and instead drink directly from the pot. I got over "coffee jaws" the first time I missed my mouth and dumped the entire pot of HOT java down the side of my face and neck. Now I use a cup. It's safer.
I want to stop drinking coffee. It doesn't do anything for me anymore. It used to pick me up and give me a burst of energy. Now it just drags me down and browns my teeth. I'm making strides. I don't drink as much coffee. I try to drink more water. It's just a hard habit to break.
