In an age where teenagers and pre-teens change their IPOD more often then they change their socks, I still don't own an IPOD. Don't get me wrong, I love music. I listen to all kinds of music. From Johnny Cash to Jay Z. I like rock, rap, western, even Dean Martin. But for some reason, the IPOD just doesn't appeal to me. I wouldn't know where to start. Did you know the IPOD classic with 160 GB can hold an estimated 40,000 songs? 40 THOUSAND SONGS!!?? Are there even 40,000 original songs in existence? If every song averaged 3 minutes, then that's 120,000 minutes of songs. It's 2000 hours of music. If you filled your IPOD with 40,000 songs at an average of 3 minutes a song. It would take you over 83 days of non-stop play to listen to every song! That's too much. But the kids the IPOD. So do adults. Almost everyone I know owns an IPOD. I would never have the time to listen to 40,000 songs. But I guess between Playstation and Wii, the kids (and adults) have some down time to fill. I guess I understand. When I was a kid, I would put down the Atari and pick up my Walkman. Side A or B?
