Just when I thought Black Friday sales couldn't get any worse, here comes Target and WalMart fighting for who can open the earliest... yet again.  Seriously?  Target has announced that it will open for it's first sales at midnight on Thanksgiving night.  WalMart then announced that it will begin Black Friday sales at 10:00 PM on Thanksgiving evening.

This is just complete nonsense, if you ask me.  Not only is it depriving employees (who probably have to work every holiday to begin with) time with their families, it's just stupid.  Just when I thought these multi-billion dollar corporations couldn't get any worse, they've really one-upped themselves with this notion.

At the same time, however, I recognize that there must be a market for this foolish hooplah.  I just wonder what Target and WalMart would do if they opened the doors and nobody came.
