What's On My Mind

Things i'm thinking about today.

I got a note from the boss today saying it's time to update my blog.   I don't have one issue I want to address, so here are a few random things on my mind.

* Wichita needs some good bagel shops.   I have to drive well out of my  way to get a bagel on my way to work.  If you have a favorite bagel place in town let me know. 

*  I was astonished at the number of mistakes the networks and 24 hour news channels made in their initial reports on the killing of Osama bin Laden.  The networks would have been hours away from their next newscasts.  I wonder what type of crew they had on hand Sunday night.

* This school year has flown by.  Hard to believe the kids will be out of school in a matter of days.

*  Wichita has seen some great restaurants come and go over the years.   I miss going to dinner at Abe's & Siesta Lounge on West Kellogg.  What eateries do you miss?  One more note...if White Castle got it's start in Wichita,  why isn't there a restaurant here now?
