I love to hit the sales at the end of the seasons, but I have to say I am really frustrated right now.
I won't say the name of the store, but I will say it's a major department store in town. On Friday I bought a couple of things on sale. I returned to the same store three days later to find those same exact items were marked down 30% more! WOW! That is a great deal. So I asked the salesperson if I could get a price adjustment. She said "No, that's not our policy." So I said, "Oh, do I need to bring the items back and return them and then repurchase them?" She responded... "Well, you can return them, but we can't resale them to you at the new price. I'm sorry mam."
Are you kidding me? Why can't they do that? Seriously. I am not an angry person, but I just don't see how that is good business. So what prevents a person from returning something, and then returning two days later and buying it back from another salesperson?
When I open my store, I will do price adjustments!
