My baby boy turns 7 today! Jacob Huey Farris born September 23, 2004 just before news time (5:58 pm) I remember because I was getting ready to watch KAKE News at six, when he was born! I know... it's crazy, but when you are in news, it's in your blood.  He weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces and doctors said 'he has a really big head!"

Jake is my little sweetie. He can be naughty, but when he is, he simply smiles and tells me how much he loves his mama. Yesterday he told me that he would 'step in front of a train for me' in reference to that song by Bruno Mars. He loves sports and of course he's very athletic, like his mother:)  I'm not biased at all. He plays football, basketball, baseball and wrestles. I'm trying to teach him volleyball too. You never know when he might need those skills on the beach someday!

I can't believe it's been 7 years! He's growing up so fast! Happy Birthday little boy!
