What ever happened to those simple Christmas requests??? A pretty sweater, a monopoly game, or a puppy... Now it's the ipod touch, the xbox-kinnect game, and a laptop. I can't even believe I'm saying this! I sound like my mother:) 

So, like thousands of other Wichita area shoppers I walk through the stores searching for that perfect electronic gadget for my 7 and 9 year olds. Electronic gadgets I don't know how to work.  I pick them up, look at the price tag and WOW! But the kids are worth it right? someone confirm that for me! I know a lot of my friends are buying them for their kids. Don't get me wrong... my kids are NOT spoiled! I repeate, NOT spoiled. For example, our assistant news director's son has had an iphone since he was 7. So why not get my kids a gadget?........hmmmmmm... or a sweater, a monopoly game or a puppy????
