Ahhhh... a Monday home with my kids. 8 year old Josie, 5 year old Jake. They decided they needed some money, so they asked if they could clean the house... $1 for each chore. That was around 10 am. By noon they had dusted, vacuumed, cleaned sinks, toilets and tubs. It was great! I gave them each $10. Within minutes they needed to spend it. So off we went to shop! Jake had to have a new baseball bat. Josie needed another watch (she already has 5-and never wears them). They spent every penny.. gone within just a few hours. That money was just burning a hole in their pockets... :)
