Wow.. it's been 8 years almost to the minute that my little Josie was born into the world.  I'll never forget looking into those big brown eyes. They were staring right at me as if to say, "it's going to be a wonderful journey mom."  We've been through so much together in those 8 years. Tears, cuts, bruises, laughter, ice cream, popsicles and bike rides... walks to the park and to the horse stables.. lipstick, and bright red nail polish on my white carpet and lots and lots of kisses and hugs.

There are already so many memories and so many more to come. My little girl has become an amazing young lady. She loves to dance and sing and tell silly jokes. She loves her Wildcats and her stuffed animals, 10 of them, all that have to sleep with her every night. She loves her little brother even when she says he's a weirdo. She's my angel, sent from heaven. She told me this morning "Mom, 8 is just a number. I'll always be your little girl." She always know what to say to make me smile.
