A tip I learned--instead of buying freezer bags, save the bag found in your empty cereal boxes.  These bags work perfectly when you need to freeze meat or anything else.

    I also reuse the empty bread sack for leftover pancakes to put in the freezer and those 2-3 biscuits or rolls that are left after a meal. They are perfect.
