I really don't like the Broncos. I hate them so much it makes my insides hurt with a fire that is so hot it would rival the magma that comes from a volcano. Seriously. The only time I would ever root for the Broncos would be if they played the Raiders. Anyway, the game is on so here's my prediction: KC - 27 DEN - 17 ------------ Mark Bradley is out for the game with a calf injury, so the wonderful Devard Darling is starting in his place. That guy is so bad he wouldn't be picked for a team on the playground of an elementary school. ------ 13:30 left in the 1st - The Chiefs first possession really isn't much of one at all. 3 and out and a poor punt by Colquitt that heads into the endzone gives Denver the ball on the 20. Lets hope the Chiefs DEF can step up this game. ----- 8 min left in the 1st - Chiefs drive down the field on a few big plays but then have to settle for a FG. 9-9 on the season for Barth though. Makes you wonder what Herm and Carl saw in Novak for all those games..... since Novak is terrible and all. ----- Well, it looks like the genius Broncos coaching staff finally realized that the Chiefs can't stop the run. Peyton Hillis just ran it in from 18 out to get the Broncos within 3 points at 10-7. We're really going to have to address the run defense in the offseason. Maybe a push for Albert Haynesworth would be a good idea since we're so far under the cap. With him and Dorsey we should be able to stop anyone from running. ------ Chiefs score again to go up 17-7 on a sweet pass from Thigpen to Tony G. The Chiefs DEF is playing great so far, putting lots of pressure on Cutler and making him make bad decisions. One of which was picked off by Leggett earlier in the game and ran back for a TD. - Also, I just saw a guy in the crowd wearing a #22 Peyton Hillis jersey. Where you get one of those or why you'd spend money on it.... actually, I don't want to know. Hopefully its a Fran Lynch, Quentin Griffin or Odalis Gary jersey instead.... but that wouldn't make it much better. ------- Cutler to Marshall for a TD pass making it 17-14 Chiefs lead with 1 min left until half. We should seriously consider putting 2 guys on Marshall at all times and go man to man on Royal. I'd rather force Brandon Stokley and Tony Scheffler to beat me than letting Marshall run all over the field on us. ------ Game is tied at 17 with 5 min left in the 3rd and the Chiefs OLine is falling apart. Center Rudy Niswanger is out for the game with an injury. The Chiefs only dressed 7 guys on the line and are down to 6 as I type this. How you can only dress 7 guys when Niswanger was hurt last week is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. I'm sure we could have deactivated someone else. Chiefs just punted, so lets hope the DEF can slow down Denver, who is on a roll offensively scoring the games last 10 points. ------ Denver has been faking us out with the bootleg pass for the past 10 years. When is someone going to figure that out? Cutler to Marshall for a TD...... again. I guess Herm didn't want to listen to me when I said to double team him all game. Chiefs down 24-17 with 10 min left in the game. |

CHEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFFFFFFFFFFFFSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Posted by: Angry Chiefs Fan Location: Watching game tape I guess Hillis' parents don't approve of him playing fullback and only chose to support him when he finally got the RB gig. Posted by: Dave Location: Wichita what's with Hillis' parents? They wait until the 13th week of the season to see him play? |
