Can the Chiefs stop the run this week? Please? I don't want to see McFadden and Fargas breaking into the open today. If the Chiefs can stop the run, they'll win the game because JaMarcus Russell isn't any good and the Raiders don't have any receivers worth much. 
Chiefs - 31 Raiders - 17 ------- Game tied at 3 - Rudy Niswanger is hurt and it sounds bad so we now have Wade Smith at Center. Whoopie...... plus, we now have Herb Taylor playing RG, which he's never done before in an NFL game. Expect some terrible mishaps on the O-Line for the remainder of the game. We're lucky that we're playing the Raiders, because if we were playing someone halfway decent, we'd be down two scores already. ----- Chiefs lead 10-3 mid 2nd quarter - After one of the dumbest play calls I have ever seen, Leggett runs a fumble back 75 yards to give the Chiefs their lead. What was Oakland thinking on that fake punt? Did they really expect Sea-Bass to run 10 yards for the 1st down? Everything the Raiders do is stupid. I'm so happy I'm not a fan of that disaster. -------- Chiefs lay the hammer down and put together an 91 yard drive that ate up over 9 minutes of game time to take a 17-10 lead at the start of the 4th Quarter. Probably the best drive of the season there. Lets hope we can pull this one out and not fall apart in the 4th Quarter. |
