Piper Aircraft Co. will hold an engineering job fair from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the Broadview Hotel, 400 W. Douglas.
Mark Miller, a Piper spokesman, says the company is looking to hire 53 engineers to work on its PiperJet program.
“We will be doing that hiring from now until the end of March,” he says.
The jobs will be in Vero Beach, Fla., where Piper is headquartered.
People interested in interviewing with a hiring manager during the job fair can send the resumes by e-mail to wichitajobfair@piper.com.
Miller says the company isn’t hiring any manufacturers at this time.
