Barack Obama's grandmother is defending her
grandson.

The 86-year-old Kenyan villager says she doesn't like the recent
attacks lodged against him by both Republicans and Democrats,
including the rumors being spread that he is secretly a Muslim.

She says "untruths are told that don't have anything to do with
what Barack is about."

Obama's half-sister says the family gathered at the
grandmother's house last night to watch the primary results come in
on a television donated by a family friend. She says even though he
lost the big contests in Texas and Ohio, the family thinks he has
done extremely well, and they're very proud of him. She says the
Democratic race is "like a football match. The game continues."
