Hundreds of people gathered for a Mike
Huckabee rally this morning in Olathe.
Many of those gathered at Mid-America Nazarene University say
they want to dispel the idea that John McCain has locked up the
Republican presidential nomination.
Huckabee's speech in Olathe was one of four events he planned in
Kansas today, the day before Saturday's GOP caucuses. He also
planned rallies in Wichita, Topeka and Garden City.
The caucuses also lured McCain to Kansas today. He planned to
meet with reporters in Wichita at 1:45 p.m.
More than 600 people showed up this morning for Huckabee's rally
in Olathe. Some supported Huckabee, but others said they had been
supporters of Mitt Romney, who dropped out of the race yesterday.
kake.com will have live streaming video of the Huckabee and McCain appearances in Wichita.
